If I win tix are there other things to do on days I'm not at the actual round?

I read that if you win the lottery pick to attend (by some miracle) that you are only able to attend one day of the tourney - whether that be a practice round or tourney round. My question is: Do people really make the whole trip down just for one day? Or are there other Masters affiliated events at or near the course for people to hang out at for the other days they can't attend?
