College Decision, what would you do?

Student Teacher Support &/or Advice

I got into two colleges for my Master’s in Teaching for Secondary Social Studies in California. They are practically identical in length, cost, and student teaching requirements.

The differences are:

College A starts in the Summer, College B in the Spring. They’re the same length, so I’d graduate a semester sooner with College A. Both colleges require four days M-Th of student teaching in the Fall and Spring at schools near me.

College A is online and has more name recognition, if that matters at all. However, there’s five days a week of 3-hour Zoom classes after I get home from student teaching.

College B requires in-person classes from 4:30-9pm on Mondays and Wednesdays on top of the same four days of student teaching. Finally, College A requires that I pass the CSET before starting in the Summer, and College B will allow me to pass by the end of the first semester in December. I’ve taken the CSET already and failed, I’d have one more attempt before the summer semester starts.

What would you do if you were in my shoes?
