Me: Spider barely eats.

Why are people so mean & angry when replying to posts here all of a sudden?
The comunity has always been pretty chill.
The other day I posted picture 1, of my Tarantula Moose.

I explained I'd had her almost a year, from a 1cm sling and she has molted 4 times with me, her last being December.

I post that She's not a great eater, maybe eating every couple of months. But she does LOOK completely overfed at the moment but very much isn't.
I wasn't asking for advice, comments about my husbandry, nor attacks, I was asking if others had Tarantulas swelled up so much when they were due a molt.

She last ate in December, a couple of weeks before her last molt (that again, was due again, very soon).

I said im I'm holding off feeding her for a while & l'l give her a locust when i do, a few weeks after her next molt.

I ended with
"Anyone else have a Tarantula that's chonky but not overfed?"

The replies ranged from one word "overfed", to "your killing your spider", "your spider can't possibly molt at that size" claims of cruelty, bad husbandry, etc.
I got sick of it and deleted the post.
I very much hate being called a liar, I don't put up with it from people IRL, I'm not letting online strangers get to me, hoping this would avoid it (obviously that didn't work).

Anyway, today was spot cleaning day, Moose didn't have anything to clean, but I always check.
And oh look, pictures 2, 3 & 4
The spider isn't dead.
A complete intact successful molt.
And *shock* she now has a completely normal size abdomen. If it was overfed it would still be huge.

So, does anyone have a Tarantula that swells up particularly large in premolt?

Why are people so very sure of themselves despite not knowing the other person's background or experience?

Why be downright rude or mean about it.

Is it embarrassing when your "expertise" is wrong?
