Coloring

Hello! I’m a tattoo apprentice been tattooing since July. For the final part of my apprenticeship I have to learn color realism. Any tips to be better? I hate coloring, despise it actually. I’ve never been good at it, no matter what I do or try so I’m looking for a little help here!
