Boundaries with mom

I searched and found a lot of posts about our moms feeling entitled to be in the delivery room and hurt when they were told no. Has anyone had issues starting earlier in pregnancy? I.e. wanting to know details of appointments? Or are you all comfortable sharing date and time details of every scan? The texts leading up to previous scans made me extra anxious/more pressure, so I’ve decided not to share the exact timing info of my upcoming anatomy scan and now my mom is upset with me. If I’m going to share how things went afterwards, whether good or bad, I don’t understand why there is a need to know exactly when the appointment takes place.

I feel protective of myself and my baby, and if anything is wrong, I’d like the chance to process with my husband before looping anyone else in. Does anyone else feel this way?
