Employee Story

Before I applied for Lowe's, there was only 1 position available. I called and asked what the position was about and what are the duties of part time seasonal merchandising sales service associate or whatever. They told me that it was lawn and garden and that I would be watering plants and what not. I have been here for close to two months and have yet to step foot outside. I understand that it's starting to get warm outside but still. I'm servicing bays, doing top stock and dusting the items and sweeping in front of the bay. I understand that a job is a job but I feel like it's degrading as a man to just be dusting each item individually and sweeping, feels a little embarrassing when a younger female coworker as a sales person walks by and I'm on my knees dusting and sweeping. Idk could just be me. They shouldn't expect me to go up and beyond for what I'm doing now bc I'm not even supposed to be doing this. Another thing is they just hired other people for outside and they have been outside working and I've been here for like 2 months and still dusting and sweeping. It's getting on my nerves.
