Requesting advice on product marketing manager job search

Hello everyone, I need your advice.

Over the past 6 years, I built and scaled a B2C e-commerce brand to multiple six figures (USD) using creative marketing strategies. Before that, I worked as an engineer at two major U.S. corporations before moving to Canada. As demand in my niche has faded, I now want to transition into a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) role at B2C or B2B SaaS startups — either remotely for U.S. companies or locally in Canada.

I’m currently taking Udemy courses and learning from SaaS entrepreneurs on YouTube about tech product marketing and GTM strategies. I have two questions and would appreciate your advice: 1. PMM roles often have 100+ applicants on LinkedIn. How can I stand out when applying to B2C and B2B SaaS startups? 2. Most PMM roles seem to be U.S.-based. How can I position myself so U.S. companies are willing to hire me remotely from Canada?
