Gallstones

Diet/Health

Yesterday I was diagnosed with gallstones. On my sonogram report it says "There are multiple mobile stones within the gallbladder. No gallbladder wall thickening or pericholecystic fluid." I'm going to the gastro on Friday and we'll see what they say but the doctor who dealt with me said it wasn't an emergency and I'll probably just be referred to a general surgeon so we can discuss if/when to remove it. I have flare ups that come with pain, so right now I'm trying to learn how to manage that. I don't mind getting it removed but I'm a teacher so I'd like to wait until the summer for the procedure. Any tips on how to manage flare ups? Any tips on how to avoid flare ups? I think mine are random because I haven't seen a pattern with the foods I've been eating. I'm on zepbound so I already eat pretty cleanly and avoid fatty/greasy foods. Any advice is greatly appreciated :)

(Yesterday I asked about a possible gallbladder issue but now I know for certain it’s that so I’m trying to get tips)
