Want to go into anesthesia but low STEP 2.

Just got back my STEP 2 score and unfortunately got a 244. Feeling overwhelmed.

Background info:

-US MD at mid tier medical school.

-1 publication, 2 case reports, 3 poster presentations, one of them at ASA.

-Passed STEP 1

Clinical rotations: 3 honors and 3 high passes. Honored in surgery, OB, and peds. High passed in IM, family med, psych.

Volunteering experience: significant volunteering experience since preclinical years.

Leadership experience: 1 leadership experience.

No red flags.

Interested in anesthesia.

Is my application DOA at this point?
