Favorite heels for Toe Up Socks?

Hello! I’m a longtime knitter but still relatively new to sock knitting in particular. I’ve tried a few of the variation s knitgramarly has on their site for vanilla socks but I’m curious for more options!

What is everybody’s favorite heel for their socks? I like the German short row process of knitting it, but I don’t love the little holes left in the sides. I do like the look of an afterthought heel but haven’t tried one yet. What about you? What preferences do you have for sock knitting?
