How are domestic flights in the US?

recently found out one of my top artists has added a north American leg to his tour and I really want to go but the only location close to me is Toronto and I don't have a passport. One date/location that I could probably make work is Santa cruz, but I definitely wouldn't be able to drive there.

My drivers license still says F on it and I haven't been misgendered in 10+ months. Is TSA gonna give me a hard time? Is it safe? I flew to Orlando in March last year and had 0 issues with TSA, but obviously it was a very different political climate then.

This artist is one of my favorites, been listening to him for 8+ years. He's only ever had a concert in the Midwest once, which I bought tickets to and then he canceled it. His current tour is around my birthday and getting to see him would be the best way to celebrate... So, am I screwed?
