Valorant rank weirdness

Played my placements and got gold 1 after getting 5 mvp's.
My games:
26/10/4 MVP won (fully plats)
32/16/11 MVP won
30/14/5 MVP won
27/9/9 MVP won
26/21/3 MVP lost

Made a similar post yesterday about this and we told I would get crazy high RR gains from winning.
Played a game today to see and match mvp'ed against plats (23/17/4) and only gained 25 RR. Is this normal?
