Unable to secure job in Indian academia, have offer from Top US university.

I did my PhD from one of the top IIT and Postdoc from top universities (rank under 10). I applied for faculty positions in several IIT's , but didn't even got a single followup update. I don't know what's happening. Recently I started looking outside India, and got a permanent scientist position in top US university.

Never been to US, but highly interested and enthusiastic about the new job.

Any suggestions looking at the current scenario? Should I take the offer ?
