Should I seal my concrete garage floor?

Is there any moisture retention issue with sealing a garage floor with epoxy "paint"? I saw reference in another sub that was discussing vapor barriers under flooring, where some advised against covering the concrete slab bc moisture from the ground will penetrate the concrete slab and the slab needs to be able to release that moisture into the air above it.
