Hello everyone. I've had this PC for a couple years now. I believe I got it around 2021 prebuilt from NZXT. It still runs pretty well, though I've been thinking of upgrading for a while—especially since now Microsoft is no longer supporting Windows 10. Additionally, with the tariffs and likely a massive bump in tech prices I figured trying to upgrade before we face the brunt of those changes would be better. The problem is, I know next to nothing about PCs. I mean I get the basics but all these numbers look ridiculous to me. Like I know the video card is important but I have no idea what the difference is between a 4090 and 5070, and its not like bigger number = better either.

To note a couple things:

* I have the Odyssey G8 (4k 240hz), so I'm looking to get the most out of those specs
* I would like to switch to Windows 11.
* I'm mostly focused on gaming performance, but overall performance is welcome as well.
* I'm not on a crazy tight budget, especially if I can trade in/sell certain items, but I also don't have infinite money, so I want it to be reasonably priced. Perhaps next best upgrade -> best possible upgrade.
* I do think I would like to increase storage.
* Also if possible I want to downsize my case. I don't know exactly what the case is called but it's NZXT and it's massive. I'm going to grad school soon so I want something that's not ridiculously heavy/big. So any case recommendations that would be able to fit most changes I would make but is smaller would be great (doesn't need to be one of those mini builds).

Thanks.

What should I upgrade? I have no idea what I'm doing.
