Is it safe to stop Lutera mid pack?

Hi, I am a 31 yr Asian female. I just started on Lutera 14 days ago, on the first day of my period. I have been bleeding since the first day of being on the pill. Not just spotting, but enough bleeding to fill a tampon every 4-5 hours. It is super uncomfortable, and I am thinking of stopping the pill mid pack.

What is going to happen to me if I stop mid pack? Any harm/downside I should know about? Is bleeding for 14 days straight while on the pill normal? I am a bit scared.

For context, I am only on the pill because my period has been on the longer side (every 40 days) following a surgery in 2023. Hoping to regular my period to 28 days with the pills, but not worth it given the continuous bleeding.
