Can I read Psychotic Obsession before the Edge of darkness trilogy?

I heard that insatiable (Leigh Rivers) isn’t as soul wrecking as voracious and restitution and I need something soul wrecking so.. Or is it? Let me know so I can read something thanks 😂🫶🏻
