Mechanic vs Carpenter/contractor/remodeler

I’m currently a mechanic for 2 years and getting a bit annoyed and burned out. I was thinking of switching trades. Has anyone done both full time. I’m curious what the worst parts of this industry is. Like what’s the hardest part of being in the industry. The type of thing to say f*ck this while working. Any information is helpful. Thank you!
