Legal Advice on a Protection Order

I have been a resident of Ohio for my entire life. I lived with my partner for 18 years we split about a year ago but he would not move out. I own the house and his name is in zero bills. Well in the last year his abuse and alcoholism has gotten to the point its horrible. I served him a protection order on March 19th and he violated it once on the same day. He did not show up for the hearing on the protection order. I was told by my lawyer that it would automatically go through and I should receive the order in the next couple days. I do not feel safe in the home so I got an apartment my question is he has tons of stuff in my house I need to get rid of to sell my house. What can I do legally to get rid of his stuff? Do I need to wait until he is served the protection order or can I start to remove his stuff? He has been to the house twice to get his stuff with the police but he still has tons of stuff. Also we got a dog together 8 years ago and he purchased the dog in his name but has not done one thing for him. He has asked the police twice that I need to bring his dog back.
