Abandoned storylines in S3

A friend of mine was waiting to binge the series so we binged it yesterday together. It made me realize several threads were just completely dropped by the end of the season. I’m not someone who expects every second of a story to have a deeper meaning or relevance later, but I do get upset when compelling things are set up only to never get mentioned again:

Rick and Tim’s animosity from Ep1. I would’ve loved to see them continue to brush up against each other at the resort. They were both very solitary characters so maybe this could’ve helped with the repetition of their scenes.

Mook as Rick & Chelsea’s health mentor. We see her meet Rick and Chelsea in the first episode, but then she never interacts with them again. Amrita basically becomes their health mentor. Why not just make Amrita and Mook the same character? This was such a missed opportunity imo.

Victoria’s Benzo addiction. A lot of people are trying to act like she was never addicted and was only taking them for jet lag, but even Lochlan in Episode 8 says “let’s wait until Mom’s back on her pills” implying that it’s a regular thing (even if he hadn’t said that… it was glaringly obvious lol. She took it for a massage). For her to stop taking them cold turkey and her only side effect being that she’s slightly more irritable was so disappointing to me.

GreGary stalking Belinda’s Instagram and narrowing in on Zion. He never threatens Zion. He never uses him as leverage for the deal. It was just weird - maybe intended to be a red herring, but it still frustrated me. Knowing Gray’s weird cuck storyline, this seemed like such a missed opportunity for him to negotiate - “1 million and I’ll let you fuck my girlfriend.” Also makes the cuck storyline tie in more neatly - it gives Greg’s kink and Zion’s hotness a reason to exist in the story.

Fabian’s interactions with the waiter in Ep1. I know it was probably just a funny one-off. But I so wish they would’ve leaned into more scenes of him being an incompetent manager, embarrassing himself in front of guests, etc. every time he was on screen was golden and I’m upset they wasted Christian Friedel like that.
