Mini Nintendo rant

Much like everyone I grew up with Nintendo and was a big defender of them forever. Always preferred them to Xbox and PlayStation. Zelda is my jam, all of their games really. It is kinda crazy though that the switch era has just kinda made me not really care about them anymore. Thing is their games are still super fun and in some ways even better than ever but all this anti consumer stuff just adds up and makes me so ambivalent and just look for better alternatives. Between their shitty online subscription, awful emulation of prior games, horrible hardware that breaks, price raises, delisting the Mario collection and Mario 35 purely for financial decisions, and now all this stuff with the switch 2 it’s made me naturally switch to a better alternative. I just bought a nice ass pc. I can emulate whatever the hell I want for free pretty easily and I got stuff cheap as hell on steam I don’t really wanna look back. Companies need to realize that if there’s better options then brand loyalty only goes so far
