My highlights didn’t turn out how I expected - will I get charged to have my stylist redo my hair?
I got my hair highlighted last friday by my hair stylist - I’m a loyal client and I’ve been going to her for 5 years, and I love her work!
I’ve always been happy with how she colours my hair and looking at myself straight on with the money pieces in the front I didn’t have a problem with it, but I saw a side profile picture of myself over the weekend and my hair was not as blonde/ bright around the top of my hair/ roots as I was expecting it to be.
I messaged her right away when I saw that pic and I have an appointment with her tomorrow to add in more highlights at the top of my head.
I’ve never gone back and asked for a revision like this before (I’m a recovering people pleaser!!) and I’m usually really happy with how she colours my hair - so my question is will I’ll be expected to pay for this service? Money’s tight in this economy and my initial appointment was expensive. With tip it was about $750 and I’d been saving up for this appointment for months. Money’s tight in this economy so I just want to get an idea if I should be prepared to pay.
And to be clear, I don’t think my stylist made a mistake, she’s fantastic, but I also think I should be getting the desired look that I want considering the price tag!
Thanks in advance 💕
