AIO confidence smushed

I recently got off birth control and have just been feeling lighter and less bloated so i decided to ask my bf today what he thinks and he just said “well we eat a lot”. now im upset in the other room because i dont take that as a compliment and basically as a woman hear “yep you’re still heavy/fat”

I just feel like there are better responses to what i asked and just left feeling insecure
