Unable to pick between these two. Please help.
We are shopping for a new luxury SUV and our requirements are: AWD, heated front and rear seats and steering, remote start and driver assistance like some hands free driving. Spacious back row seating and good trunk storage. Decent sound system. Good looking interiors and exterior. Budget 55k. I have done my research finalized these two:
1. BMW 2022 CPO X5 xDrive40i with 22k miles
Black metallic with ivory white interiors. 23k Miles. Clean car fax.
M Sport Package
Executive Package
DAPP
Climate Comfort Package
Parking Assistance Package
$54000
2. New Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid
Premier -2 package that includes panoramic sun roof, revel 10 speakers, heated rear seats etc.
This has 4 years of Blue cruise which is the hands free driving.
This is quoted at 56,000 with current A-Z plan discount.
BMW pros:
-
3L turbo inline 6 engine. I was not looking for a performance car before but I can feel it and the difference compared to Lincoln is huge.
-
Reliable B58 is reliable (atleast that's what I read)
-
Loaded with all the features.
BMW cons:
-
Maintenance is high compared to Nautilus?
-
Not a new car.
Nautilus pros:
-
The interiors are pretty cool with a huge 48 inch screen.
-
Has hands free driving and other features that we are interested.
-
Revel speakers sounded litter better compared to Harman speakers on BMW.
-
The exterior is decent looking.
-
Less annual maintenance costs.
-
Better fuel economy (as it's hybrid).
Nautilus cons:
-
Isn't much use of the huge 48 inch screen other than the initial wow factor.
-
I feel it's slow even though the hybrid version is slightly better. I wouldn't have felt this way if I haven't tried X5. So I see why people say it's a old people's car.
-
Lincoln vs BMW.
