Anybody have a fix for the snow screen? Pixel 7 user

Since December I've had my screen randomly look like a pay channel in the 1980's with static and snow. Sometimes it doesn't do it for a week or two and other times like today it is so maddening how frequently it does it. At first I was having to hold power and up volume for several seconds to restart the phone but eventually I realized if I turned the screen off and put it in my pocket for a minute or two I could usually get it to clear up without a reboot losing my place in the podcast and an notifications I hadn't read yet. But today on my walk it was so bad I had to reset and it kept doing it again and again for an hour. I'm home now and it is plugged in, not doing it, but I managed to get a picture of what it is doing. Sorry about the quality the picture was taken with an old Blu Obama phone https://i.postimg.cc/qBPgvTYB/487936513-983188130611137-4986490060846890041-n.jpg

There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when it happens. It does it when it's cold. It does it when it's hot. I honestly can't tell if it's hardware like my screen needs replaced but if that were the case it shouldn't stop doing it for days or weeks at a time. I've tried everything I can find online to fix this by modifying settings in admin mode and have had no luck fixing it. I'm not about to go run out and buy a new Pixel because that's probably exactly what they are hoping for. If I can't get it resolved it will be time to change brands. I love the phone otherwise but this is so maddening. I have thoughts like, "what if I witnessed a car accident or was attacked by a dog and had to call 911, I couldn't." This is ridiculous.

Anybody here have an actual fix for this? It's driving me insane.
