Tips/tricks to getting first shot at booking?

I’m interested in booking an Alaskan cruise when they open for 2027. I know I want to try for a specific cabin (but won’t throw a fit if I can’t get it).

Is there anything I can do other than staking Princess socials to get first shot at booking? Do travel agents get an earlier shot than the general public?

I went on a chartered cruise years ago on another line that didn’t go well, but the lure of an Alaskan cruise is warming me up to giving cruising another shot.

Thanks in advance for helping a cruise neophyte.
