Dog bite at work
Location: St. Louis
At work recently (I work at a doggy daycare), I was bitten very badly on the hand. It drew blood, but not enough to go to the hospital. We work on a strike system. Three of these instances result in the dog not being able to return. It was the dogs third strike. I was informed they would not be giving the dog a third strike, as the parents spend a lot of money there. let my boss know that I would be putting in a complaint with the city as this is clearly dangerous, and if you won’t protect me I will protect myself. I was then fired at the end of the day and given “no reason.”
Is this grounds for a wrongful termination suit?
