Should I stop pursuing her?

This past Friday, I (18m) likes this girl(17m) that goes to my school. She also lives in my neighborhood. So After like months of hyping myself up, I finally got the courage and confidence to go over to her house and say something. Thankfully it was her mom who answered because i probably would’ve pissed myself if it was actually her (yes I don’t have a good self-esteem). I was smiling hard and nervous and asked her mother if her daughter was single and that I liked her. Her mother seemed really nice and funny, she saw that I had already wrote my number on a piece of paper and was like “oh he came prepared”. She gave it to her daughter and had her call me later and we could go from there.

About 10 minutes later when I got back, she texted me! And we texted for the whole night afterwards. So I’m thinking everything is going great. And we even gave each other locations (I know probably should’ve waited)

Saturday I was very busy and I told her as such/much so she wouldn’t think I was one and done or anything like that. She said that was fine. I texted her that night but no response.

So on Sunday afternoon, a bunch of people started parking around the neighborhood so I had texted her asking her if she knew what was up. She told me her family was having a cookout. I didn’t want to invade any privacy as I could tell it was a family event. Then I checked her location about some hours later and saw that she was at the mall. I didn’t want to seem like a psycho so I just left that alone. No texts today.

Admittedly I did forget to text her on Monday, but I texted her on Tuesday and still no answer.

And now, the reason why I’m writing this post, as I’m coming back home riding on the bus, (the bus always drops me off in the front part of the neighborhood and that’s the area she lives in, I live very close to that part too tho so it’s not a bother) As I got off the bus, I could see a black SUV in her driveway. I am very observant and precise so I knew that car wasn’t familiar. Turns out she had got dropped off by her friends.

So I’m guessing since she didn’t answer my text yesterday, we didn’t text at all on Mondays and today so far, should I just give up in this pursuit or should I just text her one more time and see what happens?
