The Jewish communist conspiracy theory is so goddamn stupid. Most Russian Jews had anti-Bolshevik views. Even the Bundists and the Bolsheviks had a falling-out. Most Russian Jews who supported the Bolsheviks only did so since they were the least antisemitic faction in the Russian Civil War.
In fact, come to think of it, this would explain why the spread of Zionism eventually became such an issue in the USSR after the founding of Israel.
