Tooth issue. Any tips for dealing with it?
I’m reaching out because my toddler had a little accident yesterday and ended up chipping a tooth. It wasn’t a big fall, but I noticed a small piece of his tooth chipped off, and he was definitely in some pain. He was crying at first, but we were able to calm him down, and I tried to check for any other damage, but I wasn’t sure if it was something I should be too worried about.
I decided to take him to an emergency dentist Albany to get it checked out. Thankfully, the dentist said the chip wasn’t too severe, but they suggested monitoring it to make sure it doesn’t cause any other problems. They also gave me some advice on how to manage pain and keep the area clean. The whole experience was a bit stressful, but I’m relieved it wasn’t worse.
I’m just wondering if anyone else here has had a similar experience with their toddlers and how you handled it. Any tips on keeping the pain under control or helping them feel more comfortable? I want to make sure I’m doing everything right to avoid further issues with his teeth.
