Tongue piercing?
Hi all! I've been wanting to get a tongue piercing for the longest time and when I went into my local piercing shop they told me that the vein in the middle of my tongue may be a problem. Initially, the staff had a hard time determining if the vein even really was a vein, and I have to admit when I went home to check my tongue out I was unsure as well. They told me they wouldn't really know for sure until my tongue was in the piercing tongs. They didn't even really seem interested in taking a look and giving me a clear answer, so I walked out somewhat disappointed. However, I understand that some piercers, based on their experience, can pierce tongues at an angle to avoid that middle vein. I was simply wondering if I should get a second opinion and opt for a non traditional piercing placement.
