The vast majority of you are city folks and it shows

90% of the posts on here are clearly by city people, and refuse to realize that rural areas exist.

I don't take my dog on leashed walks because I have a very large fenced in backyard, or they roam my forty acre property with me= bad pet owner.

Pets get into skunks, mud, or eat other small animals because I live in the literal woods =bad pet owner.

Farmers have barn cats to deal with mice and other vermin=bad pet owner

People don't buy purebreds for thousands of dollars and get them from friends, neighbors, and family members who have pet =bad pet owners who support 'backyard breeders'.

People won't pay thousands of dollars for an emergency vet appointment because there's one vet in a fifty mile area =bad pet owner

Like... people outside of cities exist. People outside of suburbia exist. Please take thirty seconds and consider that people living in rural areas also have pets, and things are very different from the cities. That some people have dogs that aren't just companions, but working animals. That some people have dogs that aren't show dogs, that spend their time romping the woods with the kids, and doing what dogs do.
