Pre vet preparation
Hey there! I am a 22 year old looking to go into veterinary medicine. I’ve had quite the time trying to figure out what it is I want to do, I went to school of one year for social work (hated it) but loved learning and being in academia. With that being said I wasn’t able to affording finishing my degree and had to find a different way. I am working at Starbucks and plan to take advantage of their program with ASU online in the fall and was stoked to see they have a pre vet program. I would love any advice on getting a pre vet degree, what I can do with that alone, and how doing that online looks. I would like to go to vet school but that’s far down the road so I’m trying to not stress about that right now haha. I also was thinking, since I haven’t been in school for many years I feel like I’ve forgotten a lot of the information you should have going into school (like highschool biology, algebra etc.) so I was wondering if I should be studying before I start in the fall? Are the basic concepts brought up again in college level biology and math classes? If anyone has any advice I’d love to hear it :)
