Hi All, I have always had irregular bowls (38/f) and a touchy stomach runs in the family with some being diagnosed by exclusions as IBS. Around October I had a week long stomach issue where my stomach felt gurgly, achy, diarrhea, bloated, etc. It eventually went away and I figured I had eaten something bad. About 2 months go by where I felt completly normal (for me). Able to work out, eat, drink etc as normal. Then I have a reoccurrence last around 5 days again.
This continue to happen twice more and in that time I spoke with my GP about anxiety (now treating). I also had all bloodwork done (normal), and had an upper endo and colonoscopy (both were normal). He tested for celiac, crohns, and looked for any abnormalities.
I just can’t explain why this is happening every few months (sometimes 4-6 weeks). I go from regular bms for me. Then in one day I will poop an enormous amount, then it will end in diarrhea. Then for the next 5-10 days I will have intermittent diarrhea, cramping, gurgling, stomach pain. Does not seem to correlate with my period. I cut out nuts and cottage cheese bc I thought that triggered it last time.
I honestly thought it was anxiety induced bc for around 8 weeks I have felt great.
