I can’t live like this
M: I will always regret how things ended between us. You didn’t deserve that, but you did deserve for it to end. You didn’t love me and you showed me that repeatedly. You were selfish in every facet of our marriage, and my shouts and protestations fell upon deaf ears.
A: You are the love of my life. We had something great, something special that no one else will ever have. You told me you loved me at every opportunity and you showed it. You lived it. We were supposed to be together forever. Then one day, all of a sudden and out of nowhere, you didn’t want it. You didn’t want me. But that didn’t stop you from coming back twice. And, each time you just drove me further and further into the ground. You needed an itch scratched and after I scratched it for you, you cast me aside. I will love unconditionally for all of time, but there is a piece of me that wants you to suffer, and suffer biblically, for the way you ruined me - mentally, emotionally and financially.
E: I’m sorry you met me when you did. I can’t open up to anyone anymore. Whether I want to or not, I just can’t see me exposing myself to anyone ever again. You deserve more than I’ll ever be able to give again.
I’m getting older, not younger. I’m tired of the bullshit. Tired of the games. Just tired of it all.
And, to my dog, thank you for serving as my purpose to get out of bed.
