Hey! I decided to make a list of alt-style MCs. I've included only goth/punk/metalhead/emo styles, because that's what I've read or found.

GOTH

• Blood Tethered by I.S. Belle – YA,
• Not Like Other Boys by K.A. Merikan
• Bite Me by Fae Quin
• Possess Me by Fae Quin
• Leather and Lace by Magen Cubed
• Guarding January by Sean Michael
• I'll Tell by Sadie Sins – goth
• Moonlight Cherries by Alexa Piper – pretty sure one MC is goth

PUNK

• Hot Blood Punk by Willow Scarlett
• Talker by Amy Lane
• Skater Boy by Anthony Nerada – YA
• The Bravest Thing by Laura Lascarso – YA, MC is alt, I think punk
• The Prep and the Punk by Imogene Kash – YA
• Blurring the Lines by S.A. Payne
• The Mercenary and the Mortician by Alexandra St. Pierre – punk (not sure)

METALHEAD

• Where the Foxes Hunt with Wolves by K.A. Merikan
• Where the Devil Says Goodnight by K.A. Merikan

EMO

• The Mating of Michael by Eli Easton
• Ethan & Wyatt by K.A. Mitchell – emo-ish
• Evenfall by Ais – emo (not explicitly stated, but def has the emo style)
• For the Fans by Nyla K – emo (I think??)

ALT style but unlabeled

• Earth to Alis by Lex Carlow – YA, MC doesn't like labels, but he's definitely alt
• The Nightmare Before Kissmas by Sara Raasch – MC looks alt, but I haven't read it
• Whit by Cora Rose – Maybe alt MC, don't remember

Authors that tend to write alt characters are KA Merikan and Fae Quin.
I'm not including MCs that just have piercings and tattoes, because I'd be here listing books all night long. Also excluding rock/metal band books, because it's obvious the MCs in these books are alt, and there are quite a few and could be a whole other list on its own.

That's all I got. Please share if you know more books with an alt MCs (no bands)!
No age play!
