[PC][Around 1995-2000] Space RTS with campaign
Platform(s): PC
Genre: RTS, Sci-Fi, Space
Estimated year of release: around 1995-2000
Graphics/art style: 2D old graphics, isometric view
Notable characters: can't remember, but we play for humans
Notable gameplay mechanics: building space structures to defend base, make ships, research technologies (maybe), building fleet, completing missions
Other details: the game has a campaign divided into missions with some kind of goals like "Discover smth", "Build a shipyard", "Build some ships", "Destroy enemy base" etc. As I remember before every mission was a briefing and after completing any stage of a mission I got a screen with a picture and a message about new objectives (it was fullscreen and paused the game). Also I remember one of early missions where I had to build a shipyard and find some ship to extract it's black box. After that I got the fullscreen message that described what information engineers found int that black box.
The game is VERY similar to Star Command: Revolution, but it's not that one.
If I'm not wrong and it's the same game, there also was the tutorial mission with game's basics explaining and striped shooting targets in the end.
