Information on Ac/Dc power adapters?

I have a speaker I picked up at a thrift store that didn't come with a power cord. The back of the speaker states 15v 2.5amps. I'm looking at this universal adapter: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Regulated-Switching-Compatible-DC15V-3A/dp/B07WF5W985 . The information on this plug that states 15v 3amps. Would it fry my speaker? Or are the volts/amps regulated depending on each individual interchangeable plug you use?
