People completely ignoring compliments on their social media posts…

I’m sure somebody else gets annoyed by this too, but I can’t stand when I click on a video (for example a fit check on TikTok) and the comment section is full of sweet compliments toward the creator and they IGNORE them. And it bothers me even more when they just selectively respond to their friend’s comments and disregard all of the kind strangers who went out of their way to say something nice. Whenever a stranger compliments me I’m more than flattered and at the very least say “Thank you sm!! 💛” or something along those lines. (This post doesn’t apply to people who get hundreds/thousands of comments on each video, just the average creators who act like they’re too good to say thank you.) I see it way too much on all social media platforms and it IRKS me. I’ve also had people that I literally know IRL ignore my comments…. (Also this doesn’t apply to creepy/inappropriate comments, typically just fellow girls trying to be nice and uplift somebody else!)
