Is it hard to make profit/be successful on OF or Fansly without talking to subs?

So one of the things that is making me hesitant is the number of people who say they regularly talk to their subs, even people who have thousands of subs. How do you manage that? How much time do you dedicate to talking to subs? I would have to start part-time while working my day job, and I feel like the interacting regularly with subs thing is just adding another thing to worry about. Yeah, I could charge them for it, but then if I miss a message or don’t respond quick enough I am now cheating them out of money and they’ll get pissed. I plan on having it be $10/month, no PPV, with lewds, nudes and vids so I feel like that should be enough. Anyone with experience wanna give me their two cents? It’d be really helpful.
