Screen blank when launching

My screen is blank after starting and I feel like it’s directx12 related. It was going blank initially when I would try to change resolutions and specifically when the message that asks you if you want to confirm. Also when I was using nvidia to change settings a message popped up about if I wanted to change to performance mode since my pc has trouble running direct12 after starting up the game. The blank screen on launch started after that
