Physics Tsokos markscheme error?
Hello, in the Specimen Set 1 Paper 2 HL there seems to be an error in the first question b)? Am i retarded or? Since the body initially moves to the left, the initial velocity is 4 m/s; the average acceleration is 8/2 = 4 m/s^2, so the total velocity change over 4s is -16m/s so final velocity is 4-16=-12m/s; the work done is 0,5m(vi^2+vf^2) (since they move in opposite directions), so the markscheme incorrectly substracts them or am I tripping?
