In this little just for fun video, i present how the official Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark, looks and runs with Ultrawide resolution support/modding on a 5760x1080 resolution and 48:9 screensize relation, compared to the classic 16:9 screen format. To better show the visual benefit of such a mode, different areas and scenes of the Benchmark. That way its possible to view what is normaly out of the vision of the player. The mod used is REFramework.

As you can see this is modded and not natively position rendered. This does cause some "low-res" textures in areas, where there is normaly no screen. On already far distant assets this is more then clearly to see and with the modding setting 300% zoomout, this is even more intensive. Normaly games without native support for this, even unload the assets out of the vision of view. If this is prevented by the mod in use or a native thing is something i can not tell.

The System:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X

Motherboard: Asus Prime X670E Pro Wifi – BV:3222

RAM: Corsair Vengence (4 x 16GB) 64GB @ CL34 6000MT/s MCLK = UCLK

GPU: AMD Sapphire RX7900XTX Nitro+

NVMe: WD Black SN850X

OS: Windows 11 Pro 64bit 24H2

Resolution: 3 x 1080P

Game Settings:

Native rendered, no FSR/Framegen, Max settings, High raytracing

Timestamps:

00:00 – 00:04 System Specs

00:05 – 00:54 Detailed Game Settings

00:55 – 06:56 Benchmark running

For these who asked me about the VRAM usage, for such a mode. The difference is just 2GB (12 -> 14GB) more then compared to classical 1080P rendering.
