FOOD FOR THOUGHT:

As an African American woman married to a Nigerian man, I live in the in-between. I know what it means to carry the trauma of being Black in America, and I see the freedom that could exist in Africa—but only if we build it. We don’t see eye to eye on what’s possible in Nigeria, and that’s okay. But what’s not okay is silence.

We need to talk about the genocide of Black people in America. We need real reparations—$5 million for every Black person, whether they stay in America or choose to leave. That’s not a dream; it’s a demand rooted in truth.

Our leaders—those with big voices and massive followings—need to stop dancing around this. I’m calling on all of them: u/EYL, u/19Keys, u/DrUmarJohnson, u/EarnYourLeisure, u/BestFest, and more. Are you building platforms or liberation?

This is part of a bigger vision—a retreat, a return, an investment in Africa by us, for us. I’ve already started building. I need investors, donors, and real supporters. The blueprint is below.

Investor Letter:
Dear Friends and Potential Partners,

I’m reaching out to those who understand the power of investing in meaningful change. My name is Erica, and I’m building a one-of-a-kind retreat in Africa that brings together wellness, education, healing, and luxury—all rooted in authenticity and empowerment.

This isn’t just a business. It’s a movement. A space where African Americans and global citizens can reconnect with nature, themselves, and a greater purpose—while directly supporting the youth and communities that need us most. Every contribution helps us build a sustainable, safe, and soulful space that nourishes the mind, body, and spirit.

Here’s what your support goes toward:

Luxury eco-retreat spaces for personal transformation
Jobs and mentorship for local youth
Educational programs that empower the next generation
Healing experiences for trauma recovery and wellness
We are actively seeking donors and investors to help expand this vision. Whether you’re giving $50 or much more, you become part of a powerful legacy of restoration and reimagination.

Together, we can redefine what’s possible for Black people globally.
If you believe in the power of healing, return, and collective investment, share the discussion.
