Is it worthy to play the prequels? If so, which one is your favorite?

Hi!

I have a gaming computer and I have a lot of catching up to do regarding videogames.

I like the looks of Helldivers 11, but am I going to be lost if I dont play the prequels? 10 games seems like a lot but I think I will enjoy the lore.

Should I start from the beggining or do you guys recommend any particular one before playing the last one?
