I forgot how cringe this show was [discussion]

 I'm starting season 3 today and i just cant help but cringe at the dialouge. the constant need to make sexual innuendos at characters that look like children. The need to always be super positive about everything with hyper unrealistic dialogue. the boobs in your face at many occasions. every character needs to constantly say their catch phrase and comment on what everyone is saying without adding anything of value. I dont think we need Garfiel to be teased about having a crush on a 12 year old looking catgirl. I don't think Subaru needs to make the same joke of stumbling over insults instead of praise when talking to the hoshin rep. I don't think otto needs to comment on that. I don't think Ram needs to comment on how Subaru looks "indecent" when accompanied by his group of underage looking girls. I don't need emilia to explain she knows what kissing is with the same joke we had before.

Characterisation could be done so much better, even if you give them the exact same personalities. Tell, don't show.

I forgot how bad it was. When i started I was like 14 and even then i thought it was bad. now i just can't get through it.

anyone else having this problem? did it get worse over time or am I misremembering the previous seasons?
