Turning off during initialization

I just bought one of these second-hand and the vendor started to wipe it, changed his mind, and unplugged the machine. Now I'm on an initialization screen with the note 'Initializing... Do not turn off the PS4'.

What can go wrong here? Can I just do initialization again to have the thing work properly?
