Invincible compedium

So I've finished the show. And I absolutely love it. Now I want to get into the comics, and I wanna ask what the pros and cons of the compediums are. I know they're quite "heavy", therefore hard to carry around and read. But worth the price since you get a ton of issues in one. Any other things I should know before purchase?
