medication isn’t working

i was just in the doctors a week or two ago and they prescribed me on a medication that starts with a v? i took it and she told me my sores should go away within a day or two and they didn’t.. it’s been two weeks and i’m still having sores show up on my lip. i requested to be put on daily medication but she told me she “ doesn’t recommend it” for a acute flare but if it’s not going away it’s not acute? idk what to do i’m stressing because everyone has told me it will be easy living like this but i can’t deal with these sores. i already tried taking my life once and i can’t deal with this right now. is there anything i can take that is online that will get rid of my sores? please help 😣
