A friend not in relationship but social circle

Friend 42(f) is separated under one roof with ex and receiving PPS. Centrelink form filled in years ago. At that time was listed as different social circle.However because 37(m) has no family here they have now developed same social circle and he even goes to Christmas lunch and things with her family. She is worried she will be investigated as she mentioned people think they are a couple. Does she need to advise Centrelink about this and explain the situation in case someone says something to begin an investigation
